Story
Alfie Butler was diagnosed with a Brain tumour when he was 8 months old, after a long and brave battle sadly he died on 2nd Jan 2020 at 5 years old. His parents James & Charlotte set up Alfie's Wish as his legacy to help other children with Cancer as they know just how tough it is as a family physically, emotionally and financially. The charity supports children (0-16 yrs) with Cancer in the UK and their families by referrals from CLIC Sargent to send them on family days out to make memories together and cover help towards additional costs.
Totton Running Club - raising funds for the clubs' adopted charity for 2022, Alfie's Wish. Club members are going to run a route through Totton all dressed as Where's Wally. Starting from any point on the 5 mile route on Sunday 18th December , off at 10.00 am. En-route there are love stations, (see the arrows on the map) to keep the runners energy levels up with little cakes nibbles and drinks, most of which are alcohol free ! Please come and join us, whether your a club member or not. It's not a race, it's a bit of fun with the hope of raising funds for a great cause.
