Story
Despite usually being playful and loving, Timba sadly became aggressive and was suspected of having underlying pain and/or brain seizures. We were advised by our vet & behaviourist & Spaniel Aid that the kindest thing to do was to put him to sleep. He was almost three.
It has been an agonising decision but we know it was the right one. Sadly he's been getting more and more quiet & growly these past couple of weeks - often spending hours and hours in the crate and not wanting to come out - even growling when I say good morning instead of his usual cheerful morning spirit - a new, worse phase - he was deteriorating.
Up until the end he also had moments of immense energy, playfulness & love. This morning I lay on the kitchen floor and he pressed his head into my neck snuffling & nuzzling for a long lovely very special goodbye.
