We help after brain injury and major trauma to improve their quality of life.

Story

My name is Tony Gansler in 2013, I had multiple bleeds on the brain followed by strokes. Prior to my brain injury, I worked as an engineer a plasterer, and a TV extra. My TV extra work took me to the sets of big-name productions including 'Shameless, 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'Trainspotting 2'! This brain injury has changed my life and shattered many of my dreams, I had high hopes of qualifying as a Divemaster.

Headway Preston and Chorley are amazing and provide a great service! They help me with all sorts of things from helping with phone issues to benefits and brain injury ID card applications. Throughout the Covid Crisis they kept in touch and provided a listening ear, this really helped me manage through a time that brought me so much negativity and upset.

On Sunday the 6th of June 2021, my 60th Birthday! I will be shaving my head. I want to give back to Headway Preston and Chorley and raise as much as I possibly can for a charity that has helped me so much over the last few years.
