 On the 3rd of march I am taking part in a hormone clinic to raise awareness for breast cancer. I would like to raise money and funds for stoke mandeville hospital cancer unit as they are a local charity and looked after my mum when she had chemotherapy. 

This is very close to my heart as my mum has previously suffered with breast cancer.  I also lost my Nan to breast cancer

 my stepdad has also suffered with kidney cancer and my dad has colon cancer at present .

I also know many people have lost family members to cancer and support any charities To improve awareness and one day a cure.

One thing I noticed when my mum was receiving treatment was the lack of space available for patients who were receiving chemo and having to wait for chairs to become available. 

The Cancer Care and Haematology fund (CCHF) was set up as a registered charity in 1990 to build the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit at SMH. We continue to fundraise to help the Unit provide the excellent care for which it is known and to plan for growth in the future.
