Wow, what a day! Gorgeous for the spectators but far too hot for us runners!
I didn't quite manage the sub4, which means that I will have to have a go at it another time :-S but I did manage a personal best of 4:03.
I am having a little trouble walking today but it is a good pain, it was worth it and I recommend that you ALL give it a go...
Thanks to you all I have smashed my initial fundraising target of £500 and I am hoping to finally raise closer to £1000 for this very worthy cause. I honestly was thinking of you all along the way, in between moments of desperately wanting to stop and walk!!!
Thanks again xxx

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I finally got into the London Marathon via the ballot system after four consecutive rejections!
Running Number: 1486 Blue start
This will be my fourth marathon. My times have gone from 4:08 to 4:17 and Steve has told me to give up on my lifetime goal of doing a sub-four! Those of you who know me will realise that this has only made me more determined and I have trained hard for this one.
As I have gained my own place I do not have to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship but I am hoping that if everyone can give a little, I might be able to donate a significant amount to St. Richard's Hospice, a fantastic cause very close to our hearts at the moment. My initial target was £500 but everyone has been so generous that I have increased this to £750! Thanks to those of you who have already donated.
A big thank you to Ange for your company on all the runs, good luck to you in the Green start. We have ran approximately 650 miles together since September!
Thanks again for visiting my Just Giving page and honestly, even a pound will be gratefully received.
