16.9 miles today. Knackered!!

I am currently in training to compete in this year’s Virgin London Marathon with the intention of raising money for a very worthwhile charity called Whizz-Kidz.

My motivation for running 26.2 miles all in one go is to raise money for Whizz Kidz.  A charity which helps disabled children in the UK live a life of adventure and fun by providing them with state of the art wheelchairs and equipping them with life skills to ensure they have all they need to enjoy life just like any other child. There are an estimated 70,000 disabled children in the UK who are waiting for the right wheelchair, a wheelchair that will mean they can get up to all the things that kids like to do.
