Story

Over the next 8 weeks I will be attempting to walk to walk One Million steps for the incredible Footsteps Foundation. Any donations would be hugely appreciated 👣👣

Footsteps Foundation provides financial assistance to families in need of support, enabling children with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders to access the Footsteps therapy programme.

1 in 400 children in the UK is born with cerebral palsy.

55% of disabled children grow up in, or on the margins of poverty.

The cost of bringing up a disabled child can be 3 times greater than that of raising a child without disabilities.

Because of this, we help those families that want to bring their children for the specialist life-changing Footsteps therapy, but would find the costs difficult to cover without help.

Footsteps needs your help to continue their vital work, helping disabled children to get stronger and more confident. Footsteps have improved the lives of hundreds of disabled children, helping them to reach their full potential through our life-changing physiotherapy and we are now coming together to keep this brilliant service going.

Intensive physiotherapy  is virtually impossible to access on the NHS Community fundraising is as you will all know extremely challenging at the moment and without the generous support of people like you many children will lose out on this life changing treatment. So any donation you can make will be hugely appreciated.

This is a wonderful charity which has changed the lives of so many children, and is particularly close to my heart as I have watched it transform my sister Mintys life.

Take a moment to watch our SHORT VIDEO to see how we change lives at Footsteps.
