As some close to me will know, shortly after my grandad retired, whilst out walking his dogs he suffered a heart attack and passed away whilst on his way to the hospital. Within weeks again totally unexpected my uncle also suffered from a heart attack whilst at work. Both left family behind and an empty hole in our hearts. 

This year I am aiming to run 50k in support of the British Heart Foundation and raise as much money as I can along the way. So any donation is very much appreciated. 

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
