Story

Hi Everyone

Thank you for visiting our Just Giving Page.

We have completed several events in memory of Mariam and raising awareness of Epilepsy through the Epilepsy Society. This includes the Thames Bridges Trek (2021), London Marathon (2023) and the 6 London park walks (2023).

We will continue to raise awareness through more events in the future!

We have chosen Epilepsy Society as our charity as it is a charity that has a special meaning to us. We are walking in memory of Mariam who sadly lost her life aged only 19 years as a result of epilepsy. We hope that by contributing funds to Epilepsy Society it will help to make life better for those affected by epilepsy.

Epilepsy Society is the UK’s leading provider of epilepsy services.

Epilepsy Society set out to make a difference to every person affected by epilepsy whatever their background, however seriously it affects them, and whether they have the condition themselves or are close to someone with epilepsy.

Their mission is to enhance the quality of life of people affected by epilepsy by promoting public awareness and education, by undertaking research and by delivering specialist medical care and support services.
