My name is Tom.  I am 12 and I have Aspergers.

I love animals so much. My first word was ‘dog’ and I’ve always loved animals for as long as I can remember. 

I am lucky enough to have two dogs; Pips and Rags. They help me with my anxiety but also I just love them. 

Although Rags is a rescue dog, both dogs have a lovely, happy life at home with us. 

I know that there are dogs and cats that don’t have such a happy life, and Battersea work hard to help them. They help them by looking after them and finding them new homes so that they can be happy and loved like our dogs.
