Story
In 2011 two-star Michelin Chef Andrew Fairlie prepared the world's highest Burns Supper at the top of Kilimanjaro to raise funds for HIT Scotland. In his final months he continued to work closely with the charity to establish the Andrew Fairlie Scholarship. Andrew helped me out for several years with our ScotHot trade exhibition. He always wanted his teams to compete at the highest level and many of his Gleneagles prodigy won top accolades at our event, the climax being Lorna McNee winning Scottish Chef of the Year in 2017. Andrew spent his last weeks at Cornhill Hospice and both his family and my team at 365 Events wanted to raise funds to provide tangible benefits to the nursing staff who give so much. To this end I am joining an intrepid band of 22 explorers, led by Andrew's brother Jim and HIT Chief Executive David Cochrane to follow in his footsteps and climb Kilimanjaro in October to raise funds for both charities. Help me to support them - please dig deep my friends! Thanks Toby
