Last week some good friends went for a routine hospital visit on their baby’s due date and received the devastating news from the midwife that she could not detect a heartbeat.  After a difficult labour the baby was born not breathing.  There were no obvious signs of why the baby died and they will probably never know.  In her memory, we are raising money for research into still births.  I am doing a sponsored row,  from Lincoln to Boston on Sunday  18 September.  We are aiming to row 50km.

Okay just a quick update. I couldn't get a boat on the water because of logistical reasons so I did it on a rowing machine. I can promise you that didn't make it any less painful. I think you can still donate. I'm not sure how long for though. Thank you for reading and for any donations
