On the 2nd of April 2022 we will be celebrating our Kabbalat Torah with South Bucks Jewish Community.

Our Torah portion is about the Passover seder and the rules for its preparation, including the food. In our studies, we have been thinking a lot about the role of food and its importance in our lives, as well as our duty to share food with our community.

We are very aware of the impact that Covid-19 has had on people's lives and that food insecurity is something impacting our friends and neighbours. For this reason, we have chosen to support DENS as part of our celebration. 

We have been lucky to visit both the DENS food bank as well as the bike project, which refurbishes bikes and sells them at reduced costs to fund their important work. 

We will be talking more about DENS at our celebration. In the meantime, please consider supporting them with a donation on this page.
