Story
Since a fairly young age I knew I was a little different. As I struggled to carve out a place for myself in a world that often 'others' mental health sufferers, my dad was always my biggest fan!
When he passed away in 2015 due to a brain tumour he instilled in me the courage to own my own story, which was incredibly empowering.
He has gifted me with a self-belief that has seen me move from South Africa to the UK, win advertising scholarships, have poetry featured at The British Library and now run The Brighton marathon
There is strength in vulnerability, as it offers us a chance to connect, and in an increasingly disconnected world, that is a radical act!
