Well... It all started at the beginning of 2014 when there was a couple of us sat in the pub and one of us said that he's going to summit the Wrekin 365 times this year just for training for Half marathons, marathons and the like.
So a few months past and at the start I was walking up most days, due to a knee injury. However the knee soon strengthened and we carried on day in, day out in the really wet weather. Often putting wet shoes back on the next day for the run up.
I have to admit that when your doing hill repeats in the dark and rain it not that nice, however recently, with the lighter nights I've been managing to go straight from work and get a run or two up before it goes dark.
This is where the fundraising idea comes in. I've had numerous people ask recently "Are you doing this for charity?", and with the better weather also being an inspiration, It led me to think that the only answer to that is "I should be".
There are many charities that I believe are doing a great job. However the Severn hospice is very close to my heart due to the care that my Nan, Pamela Perry received in the last few months of her life.
So here we are, Id just like to thank anyone in advance for sponsorship or donations and you will be able to keep track of my progress on Strava, details for this will be added in the updates.
Thanks again
