Can't believe we talked ourselves into running the Birmingham Half Marathon on October 24th.   But,  now we're getting close to the date, and actually think we might just be able to finish it, we thought it would be great to raise money for charities that are close to our heart and provide support for illnesses that have affected our family.

Firstly,  for Macmillan Nurses,  who provided wonderful support to our Mum / Grandma - Norma - when she was terminally ill with cancer.

Secondly, for Diabetes UK,  which is a charity providing support to an increasing number of people.  Indeed, one person is diagnosed with diabetes every 3 minutes in UK while 3 people die from its complications every hour.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
