Just a quick update to let you know how I got on…Managed to successfully complete the course in my PB time of 1.25.02, which I’m really chuffed with. Thanks to everyone who was out on the course, cheering me and all the other runners on. It really gives you a boost when you’re feeling tired to see a friendly face. My legs are in bits, so you know your donation has been worked for!

On Sunday 13th September I'm running the 13.1 miles to take part in my 7th Nottingham Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support (not a big cat in site)!

I'm raising vital money for Macmillan Cancer Support, which is a charity extremley close to my heart as they provided vital care and support for my family and my mother during her last few months, before her death 18 months ago.

I've put in the hours and miles around the tough streets of Nottingham in my training, so I'm aiming to break the 1hr 30 barrier this year.
