Tim's Walking 1,500 miles in a year

Story
This years' challenge: I'm going to walk a total of 1,500 miles before 15th July 2015.
Mostly made up walking to/from work rather than using public transport although a quick calculation suggests this will be nowhere near enough to reach 1,500 miles so a fair number of top up weekend walks will be needed.
A few more calculations suggest this may actually be quite difficult - it's the same distance as:
57 marathons or
walking along Hadrians wall from one side of the UK to the other. 18 times.
