Thomas P. Keating passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Jersey City Medical Center. He was born in Jersey City to the late Mary (nee: Guckian) and Patrick Keating and was a lifelong Bayonne resident. 

A graduate of Marist High School, Thomas earned a bachelor's degree from St. Peter’s University and a master’s degree from Seton Hall University.   He was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for BCB Bancorp, Inc., Bayonne.  He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise National Bank prior to his tenure at BCB.

Tom was a devoted community man, along with coaching PAL Basketball and Little League, he was a volunteer for PeeWee Basketball for 20 years. He was a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, NJ Society of CPA’s, PAL board member, former board member of BFCC (YMCA).

He received service awards from Marist High School and All Saints Catholic Academy. His unofficial board membership of his son’s band was a job he treasured.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn Keating (nee: Skibbie); his loving sons, Thomas Keating, Christopher Keating (Krysta), and Michael Keating; his cherished grandchildren, Donovan and Talia Keating; his dear siblings, Patricia Nardone (Leo), Mary Pacyna (Lou), and Kathleen Keating (Mike); his dear in-laws, John Skibbie (Camille) and Lori Ann Law (the late Brian); and many loving nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his loving brother, Timothy Keating.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, March 11, 2022.  A funeral Mass will be held at the Parish of Blessed Miriam Teresa at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 11:00 a.m. A private cremation will follow.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m.
