We support people facing serious illness to shape their own care.

Story

Harlington Hospice is a community hospice working throughout the London Borough of Hillingdon. They provide services for people at the end of their lives and support families with bereavement and loss.

Unanimously everyone wanted dad to return back home for his last few days and one of the organisations instrumental in making this possible was Harlington Hospice. A local charity they were able to provide completely free of charge a Registered Nurse to stay with us overnight giving us must needed rest and dad high quality medical care as well as company throughout the night. The Harlington Hospice nurse was with us as dad died and we can not express enough our gratitude towards her and the profound impact the care and compassion she showed towards us and dad even after he passed away had on us.

The nurses, health care assistants at the hospice are all remarkable people who helped us greatly. The charity relies on our donations to be able to give others this invaluable help, care and support at the end of their lives.
