Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm pretending that I'm not scared of heights for a bit and doing an abseil down the Anglican Cathedral for The Owen McVeigh Foundation on Saturday 10th July.
The foundation is one that my family and I have supported as much as possible the past 12 months. We've seen first hand the amazing work everyone at the foundation does for children and families affected by cancer in Merseyside, so when the opportunity come up for me to help raise money for them I had to put my name down (the 3 beers on an empty stomach may have given me some courage 😂)
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm scared of heights, from having to get rescued from the big slide in Festival Gardens as a kid to shaking like a leaf climbing the stairs of water-slides on holiday, it's safe to say I'm happier when my feet are on the ground (not on the side on a Cathedral!) so I'm stepping outside my comfort zone for this AMAZING cause here!
I know I'm a bit behind on fundraising (some people have already raised over £1000 which is amazing!) So please donate and share the page!
Thank you for taking the time to read this and an even bigger thank you for donating!
If you want a laugh feel free to come down and support me Saturday 10th July, I'll need all the support I can get 😂
