I am taking part in the 10K in Glasgow on 8th May 2011.   I have never done anything like this and although I may be walking rather than running, I am determined to succeed.

I lost my beloved Father to cancer in 1992 when he was only 60yrs of age  My lovely Father in Law lost his fight last June.    One of my dearest friends also died at the age of 40.   I have loved and lost many relatives and friends over the years to this horrible disease and urge you to contribute to the fight for a cure.    Cancer touches all of us in one way or another in our lives and hopefully with more resources a cure CAN be found.
