The Challenge: 14 days to navigate the length of India from Cochin to Jaisalmer starting 1 January 2015.

The Vehicle: A glorified lawnmower aka a Rickshaw. It's not very fast, it smells, it falls over when you go round corners, it breaks down when it wants to and a days’ driving feels like you've been kicked up the butt by an angry elephant.  

Total Distance: Over 3,000 km

Top Speed: 34 miles per hour… Downhill!!!

We have NO set route, NO support vehicles, NO mechanical knowledge and NO idea how to speak the local language… We are The Mindions.

We DO have a few days off work, a sense of adventure and a worthy cause.

On 19.09.2014, our brother and friend Hoshil was suddenly taken from us at the tender age of 22. He was in his final year of studying a dual science degree (BPharm + MBA in Pharmtech).  

We have teamed up with Heal UK and are aiming to raise £23,500 to build a science laboratory in Hoshil’s memory at The Paradise Village -  A purpose built eco-village providing accommodation, healthcare and education for 1,000 orphans and underprivileged children from around India.

·         We are funding this entire trip ourselves, so EVERY penny you donate goes straight to the charity.  

·         Unlike most charities, HEAL UK gives over 95% of its donations straight to where it is needed rather than its staff and administration. This means that when all of you generous people donate, your hard earned money goes DIRECTLY to the cause.
