Story
I started making stickmen during lockdown, after watching the short children’s film Stick Man.
I continue to make them, placing them around Shalfleet or having them on display in shops and cafes, simply to bring a little bit of cheer.
People contact me asking if they can buy a STICKMAN, but they're not for sale. They are a labour of love, because they take many hours to create. It starts with a woodland walk, finding the right size branches, drying out fircones and moss….. and ending with painting and varnishing them. I encourage people to get in touch with nature and have a go at making their own STICKMAN!
If you’re lucky to be given a STICKMAN by Michelle, please consider donating to this Just Giving page, in memory of little Sophie Rolf- KissyPuppy children’s charity.
