Story
Mel Johnson has worked for over 30 years as a highly skilled and professional hair colourist. She runs The Color in Bridlington with her husband and business partner Richard. She is a part of the global Paul Mitchell family, and her independent salon is a Paul Mitchell Signature Salon.
Not only is Mel a highly skilled hair professional. Mel is unique with an eyewatering mix of other skills and qualifications. Ranging from a Black Belt in Martial Arts to being a fully qualified hypnotherapist (at Masters Level), NLP Master level and much much more.

She regularly runs her very popular Trance Relaxation classes in her studio in East Yorkshire. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mel very much knew that she wanted to help other professional UK based hairdressers who might need support, particularly as she realised many will be facing no income and worrying about their futures.
Mel has moved her classes on line and will be offering her classes for free up until she returns to work. All she is asking, is that anyone joining her virtual classes, gives a donation to the Hair and Beauty Charity through this Just Giving page.
