We fund research, education & equipment to help fight all Head & Neck disease

Story

Get A-Head may not be one of the best-known charities but for the last 26 years it has raised £10m to help individuals and their families suffering from rare head and neck diseases, particularly cancer.

Tom Bromwich, charity chairman, is the brother of Imogen and they have a personal connection to the charity, who have been an integral part of Tom's, and his twin brothers Edward's lives after they were both diagnosed with Thyroid cancer.

The charity was able to fund the research that identified the very rare gene that caused it, and research to help others with the same rare gene is ongoing.

Get A-Head contributes to vital and major research projects that help to save lives and understand rare cancers and diseases, as well as funding vital equipment the NHS is unable to, such as the cyber knife.  Please visit www.getahead.org for more information.
