Story
My Clare (or Gizmo)
As many of you will know, my soon to be wife Clare Lewis sadly passed away on the 30th December 2020.
For those that didn't know her, I can tell you she was an amazing women! Kind, caring and selfless, with a beautiful smile and an enormous heart and I am truly lost without her :(
For those of you that had the privilege of knowing her, you will know that Clare wouldn't want anyone to be sad at her passing, but to be happy that she knew and loved you. She would want you to celebrate her life and remember her for the fun loving lady that she was .. She was truly amazing !
Clare's passing was so quick that we only had limited time to discuss the arrangements she wanted for her life celebration (her funeral).
I hope that some of these make you smile as I do every time I read them ... They are so Clare!!!
Things I like ......
- Prosecco
- Ibiza Music
- Motown
- Dancing
- Animals
Things to bare in mind for the day ..
- I do not want a religious ceremony !!
- I want to be cremated, so I can have my ashes scattered in St Ives
- No Black Clothes, the more colour the better !!
- Rather than flowers and gifts, I'd like people to make a donation to Mary Stevens Hospice!!
Like I said ... So Clare .. completely heart felt, selfless, and
generous
to the end, like she always was ..
So we are carrying out her wishes, to raise as much money as possible for a Hospice that had a special place in Clare's heart.
Clare was a very loved lady and I know that there will be many that want to help .... Make her proud people she was a very special lady.
Gone but never forgotten, always in my heart .. My Gizmo xxxx Love you sweetheart xxx
