Story
It's back and bigger than ever before - The Quilter Foundation bike ride returns!
This June, colleagues and advisers from across the business will be taking part in The Quilter Foundation’s annual bike ride challenge to raise funds for the Local Community Fund. Last year we raised an incredible £18k and the team collectively cycled 13,831km, the distance from London to Darwin, Auckland!
Let’s push even further this year to see how far we can collectively cycle over the weekend - 40,000km will take us around the whole globe and we are aiming to raise £20,000 which will be matched on a £ for £ basis to a HUGE £40,000 for our local charities.
The bike ride will take place from Friday 17 June - Sunday 19 June and riders of all abilities will make up the Quilter cycle team contributing to the total distance covered.

Where the funds raised will go
This year, The Quilter Foundation launched the Local Community Fund, to support its mission of wanting to improve the lives of 100,000 young people in our local communities.
All funds raised will be matched £ for £ by Quilter and will go towards our Local Community Fund. The Local Community Fund offers small grants of up to £10k to local charities nominated by our colleagues.
So far, we have funded a variety of charities that are doing some incredible work in their local areas including respite centres for children/young people with disabilities, counselling and mental health services and therapy for those affected by neurological and physical disabilities.
This quarter, the Foundation has opened the Local Community Fund criteria to include charities in support of those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
Please give generously, thank you.
