The Miracle Foundation Scio support young people through the complex journey of grief. The organisation was born upon grief and seeing what our family went through, we wanted to help other families just like ours through the early intervention stage of grief. Services were so scarce to access for our children, waiting times on the NHS and Camhs were over 5 months. We set up The Miracle Foundation as registered charity with premises in Motherwell and is now staffed by counsellors and therapists, along with the original volunteers who help set it up. We offer specially tailored programmes for young people through a open, accepting and mutually understanding forum which allows young people to discuss their journey of grief freely. Many young people have and will lose loved ones through this pandemic. During a bereavement families are often left very vulnerable especially young people . Young people who access our service are able to do so free of charge. We look to create support lines for any young person who is grieving the loss of a loved one or maybe for a young person who has lost a parent or grandparent or sibling and this pandemic is making them feel anxious and worried. We will send Support packs to all young people who require our assistance as well as online support. We cannot do this without your support, please help us help young people who need this support. You can make this possible by donating today and sharing our page.
