We help previously-homeless young people to access safe supported housing

Story

Between the 19th and 20th of July this year, the Cornish Bakery in Sidmouth will be cycling the distance between the two furthest stores in the country, Falmouth and Whitby.

This two day challenge is in aid for the YMCA in Exeter.  In March of this year, our Assistant Manager Tim's son Coner sadly passed away. Coner was 18 years old at the time and had been living at the YMCA in Exeter for 6 months.

The YMCA has been truly amazing for Coner and the family before and after his untimely death. Tim and his family would like to show their gratitude for the amazing support they have all received from the YMCA which is why we have picked them as our chosen charity for this year.
