Story
As my time as Headmaster of The Beacon draws to a close, I have decided to take on a final challenge. Before the end of term, I shall send myself hurtling through the air at a speed of around 100 miles per hour across the Penrhyn Quarry, Wales, on the world's fastest zip line. I am quite terrified at the prospect, but I intend to conquer my fears for a very worthwhile cause; The Headmaster's Bursary Fund.
The Headmaster’s Bursary Fund offers means-tested financial support to boys from less-advantaged backgrounds, giving them the chance to access an exceptional education here at The Beacon. Not only does it provide life-changing opportunities for these boys, it also helps to create a more vibrant and diverse ethos at our School, to the benefit of our entire community. If I could have one parting wish before I leave the School, it would be to secure funding that would allow at least one more deserving boy the opportunity to take up his place at The Beacon from September.
I would be very grateful if you would consider sponsoring me in this quest. Thank you.
