Steptember is here!!! For the whole month of September staff at Elecro will be challenging themselves to reach a group target of 6,000,000.00 steps (that's a target of 10,000 a day per person.). Elecro had 20 staff members volunteer to take part. Elecro's Directors Kevin and Ross have pledged a combined amount of £25.00 for each member of staff that signed up to the challenge and have pledged to match this amount if the team meet the challenge target. That already potentially £1000.00 of the goal raised. 

Elecro is raising funds for Lennox Children's Cancer Fund to help them battle the financial side-effect of the coronavirus pandemic. Lennox is a small charity that relies entirely on small businesses and individuals to raise funds. With many people are working from home, and others self-isolating, they have seen a significant drop in their income. The packages announced by the government to help small businesses with loans and grants are not available to small charities like them, and they do not have reserves like many more prominent charities do. The truth is, they may not survive this pandemic without our help! Cancer does not stop during a pandemic or a lockdown, so the practical, financial and emotional support that they provide to the children and families living with childhood cancer is still just as important as ever before.
