Story
A team of us at Pure are taking on the East Anglian Air Ambulance
“Only the Brave” challenge on the 20th March 2016.
There are two “Only the Brave” courses, a 5 mile course and a 10
mile (for the very brave!).
The Challenge & The Cause
We will be taking part in either a 5 or 10 mile mud run, each race will
be a classic obstacle course run with various challenges along the way. There
will be fun and games, climbing and crawling, mud and mayhem, pain and glory!
Only The Brave is inspired by EAAA pilots, doctors, patients, and
families. They continually over come physical and emotional obstacles every
single day and say that ‘it’s not the obstacles you face, but the way you deal
with them’ that counts. We will need the same attitude to complete Only The
Brave!
The money raised from the event will help to keep EAAA in the sky. They
need to raise £10.2m this year to keep flying and the sponsorship we raise by
taking part will help them reach this target. That’s more missions, more
equipment, and more obstacles overcome.
Pure Participants
From Pure we have two teams of mixed ages and abilities competing in
either the 5 or 10 mile race.
Competing in the 10 mile race will be:
Ian Walters

Training has commenced (the prospect of climbing a 7ft wall and landing in
a pool of mud is spurring us on!), and we are all keen and eager to raise as
much money as we can for this brilliant cause. Anything you can donate,
even the smallest amount will all contribute to ensuring the Air Ambulance
stays mobile.
Thank you for your support.
