Story

Team Copper is taking part in the Challenge Cancer cycle from London to Brighton overnight on 20 September 2014 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Four determined members from Copper, 3 guys and 1 girl (lucky her) are pumping up their tyres and adjusting their saddles (or in some cases, actually purchasing a bike) to prepare themselves for a gruelling overnight cycle ride from London to Brighton. The ride will demonstrate teamwork, communication, will power and endurance in order for Team Copper to successfully pedal their way through the moonlight/rain.

As much as Team Copper enjoys a good challenge, star gazing and not sleeping - the ride is not just for fun. They have decided to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care and give as much help and support as possible to this vital charity. After all, it is Macmillan that supports people affected by cancer as well as their families and nearest and dearest. It is a cause which is close to so many hearts, and every penny raised for Macmillan Cancer Care will help towards healthcare, raising awareness, and emotional and financial support.

In the lead up to the cycle, Team Copper will be organising a number of exciting fundraising activities to achieve our target of £1000. Any donations will also be gratefully received.
