Story
Persecuted and other suffering Syrians are in desperate need of food, medicine and shelter.
Team ACN are proud to announce that we completed the run! One of the runners, John Pontifex writes:
"A huge thank you to all of you who donated towards the British 10K London Run that Kathy, Marie, Juan and I entered. Despite the bad forecast, the rain stayed away and all of us got round the course. I’d set myself the challenge of doing the run in under 50 minutes – and I achieved that goal with 17 seconds to spare! We were cheered on every step of the way by thousands of spectators who braved the threat of rain and came along to support us.
On behalf on Team ACN, I would like to say thank you for your words of encouragement, your generous donations and your prayers. The JustGiving page will remain open for a while so if you would still like to donate, any small amount would be appreciated. Funds raised will help Aid to the Church in Need’s work providing food, shelter and medicine for people caught up in violence and persecution in Syria."
Crisis in Syria
The money raised by our ACN staff and friends will go towards supporting suffering Christians in Syria, something head of Press and Information John Pontifex has witnessed first-hand.
By giving as little as £3 Aid to the Church in Need is able to provide emergency help for families who have been affected by the crisis in Syria. With your support we are able to continue to send basic aid including food, shelter and medicine.
