Bridgewood Farms was founded 55 years ago by community leaders passionate for ensuring that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their highest potential!

We focus on providing heart and home for our community with emphasis on quality programs, continuing education, ensuring a safe and productive environment, and providing peace of mind for our families and clients.

Our Adult Continuing Education program helps our clients maintain and learn new skills in math, reading, social sciences and social studies .  Thanks to grant funds from the 2022 TEGNA Foundation in partnership with KHOU television, we are using electronic devices to help them to learn and use apps that compensate for learning disabilities they may have.  Our clients LOVE going on field trips in our local community provided through this program.  These excursions allow them to shop wisely, eat out at restaurants, and pay for their purchases while making connections with local business leaders.  

Every donation will be used to move our mission and vision forward, through providing excellent programs that enable our clients to learn and improve their life skills, grow socially and emotionally, and experience the joys that come with achieving milestones and goals!
