Story
Hello everyone,
I am going to run 100km in February to raise money for The Emily Test. The Emily Test is an amazing charity which provides education on how to prevent and address gender based violence (GBV) within colleges and university’s in the UK. It aims to empower woman who have been affected by GBV and provide a platform which supports growth and recovery.
The charity was set up by Fiona Drouet in memory of her amazing daughter Emily. Emily was a victim of GBV which resulted in her untimely death.
I have worked with Fiona on some research and various awareness projects which is why this charity is so important to me. This charity has provided a safe and comfortable platform for victims to be heard and believed. The work Fiona does is much needed within our society and has had a huge impact of the lives of many students and families alike. Fiona has been driven to change laws surrounding GBV and the painful process that court can be for victims.
I would greatly appreciate any donations to support this incredible organisation.
Thank you so much in advance
T xx
