On September 10th 2021 Forres Rotary will be celebrating 70 years since it was chartered. To celebrate we are hoping to do a series of 70 Challenges.
Rotarians can decide their own challenge. Providing updates and photos of their activities through Facebook / Instagram and our website.
listed below are only suggestions.
Physical challenges (within a given time)
Walk 70 miles
Play golf for 70 minutes;
Swim 70 lengths
Dance for 70 minutes
Craft activities
Bake and donate 70 cakes;
Make 70 pots of jam
Knit 70 squares (blanket for Bunono?)
Paint for 70 hours
Cultural activities
Learn to count 1-10 in 7 languages (70 words)
70 crosswords / Sudokus in one month
Other activities
Donate £70
Collect 70 £1 coins;
Stay silent for 70 hours / minutes;
Plant 70 plants and give them away
Organise a treasure hunt with 70 clues
Sell / donate 70 items
We want to inspire and help as many people as we can in our 70th year so get fundraising, you choose!

Forres Rotary is a charitable organisation (Scottish Charity SC000336) that works both locally and internationally.
Locally we support key fundraising events, Fireworks/Bonfire Night, Santa's Sleigh, Children in Need.
Internationally we support Shelterbox, Shoebox Appeal and Bunono school.
