I have pledged to raise much needed funds for critical winter emergency needs for our Syrian brothers and sisters who live in appalling conditions.
Last winter was particularly bad with the added risk of the Coronavirus spreading in the camps, and widespread flooding from rain turning camps into lakes affecting thousands of families!
Every winter our Syrian brothers and sisters have to face the bitter freezing cold weather living in tents and simple makeshift shelters. We have all heard the horrific stories and seen the awful pictures of babies freezing to death!
With inadequate shelter, a lack of winter clothing and warm layers, reduced food provisions and limited access to healthcare, the risks of winter related illnesses and death are significantly high.
Here is a video testimony from ground operational staff delivering and organising winter emergency aid for Muntada Aid:

To counter this critical situation for the refugees, Muntada Aid is delivering winter essentials in the refugee camps.
