Taj received expert care whilst he was on Star Ward. The kindness, gentleness and compassion showed by all the staff looking after Taj was above and beyond their duty of care. We would like to thank all the specialist nurses, doctors and consultants for their outstanding support for Taj and our family during the days we were there.

We would like to donate a gift in memory of Taj, through this tribute fund, to remember the life that was Taj: Fun-loving, cheeky, happy, creative, active, caring, kind and so loving. Funds raised will be used to purchase life support equipment which was used whilst Taj was looked after on Star Ward.

We know Taj would love this and we honour him by making this contribution to help other children.

The Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales is based at the University Hospital of Wales at the Heath Park site and provides
secondary care for the children of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

The Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PICCU) is the first and only children’s intensive care unit in Wales, and cares for children from birth to 16 years of age The Children's Critical Care Unit has 15 bed spaces. This includes two double-bedded bays for children who either require isolation, or are inpatients due to the complexity of their condition. Taj was cared for in one of these bays.

Each bed area has purpose made pendant systems with integrated supplies within.

The Noah’s Ark Charity passionately believe all children in Wales should get the best possible hospital care. Working with the NHS, NAC aim to provide the Noah’s Ark hospital with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities; helping it become one of the best children’s hospitals in the world.
