We Raise awareness of suicide & vital funds to Train mental health first aiders
Story
To mark Suicide Prevention Week 2020 we are hosting a virtual event from the 10th- 13th September. Since we can’t cycle from the Principality Stadium to Twickenham Stadium this year, we’d love you to help us kick or throw a ball the distance instead! Over the 4 days, we want to cover the 277km a different way
All you need to do is grab a ball (or anything throwable!) and a friend, kick/throw the ball between you, tag us with the estimated total distance the ball has travelled and donate £5 (or whatever you can afford) to the Ted Senior Foundation via JustGiving
We’d like people to break the stigma of discussing mental health and use the challenge to do this with friends and family
Join us in getting active and help raise awareness of suicide
Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose

The Ted Senior Foundation was set up after Ted Senior (aged 22) took his own life. He was a medical student following his dreams.
The premise of the service will be to train individuals in universities and local schools sports teams in mental health first aid.
We also work with The Support after Suicide Partnership.
