This coming September, Music MOB plans to start providing instrument lessons in our local primary schools. A year of lessons for three children costs approx. £540. Please help us to provide this important education for the kids.

Story

Terence Roderick Spain (Terry) sadly passed away on 30th Oct 2021, aged 82.

After a long career with IBM, he ran Music Makers in Oswestry, Shropshire, with his wife for 13 years.

Music always played an important part in his life. He was an active supporter of local music events and helped and encouraged many young people.

For this reason, we would like to support the charity "Music Matters in Oswestry and the Borderlands"

Music MOB (Music Matters in Oswestry and the Borderlands) is hoping to begin providing musical instruments and instrument lessons in some of our local primary schools from September this year. Many children are not in a position where their parents or guardians can afford to pay for instrument lessons, and we are passionate about giving as many children as possible the equal opportunity to learn an instrument and to receive the enormous benefits that learning to play music and playing together provides. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
