Having successfully completed my first half marathon in October 2014 I figured the logical next step was to double the distance! So on 26th April 2015 I will be running the London Marathon in aid of the UK charity War Child.

War Child is a non-governmental organisation founded in the UK in 1993.  It’s mission is to support and improve the protection and care of children and young people who live with a combination of insecurity, poverty and exclusion in some of the worst conflict-affected places.  Some of War Child’s current projects include assisting child refugees in war-torn Syria; tackling child soldier issues in The Central African Republic, Uganda and The Democratic Republic of Congo; and increasing child education and protection in conflict-affected Afghanistan and Iraq.
