Sworders is an independent rural property consultancy firm offering surveying, planning and architectural services across the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors. As a team each year we raise money for charity. One of our chosen charities this year is YANA. YANA help those involved in farming and other rural businesses affected by stress and depression. Farming or working in the countryside is usually a good way of life but it is a demanding and stressful occupation. So, it’s not surprising that many people involved with agriculture can feel isolated, depressed or unable to cope as well as normal. ** 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience poor mental health so it is important to know that you, or the person you are concerned about, are not alone. Sworders feel really passionate about supporting YANA as our main client base are farmers and landowners, so this feels really rewarding to help and support those in our industry. Some of the staff here at Sworders are taking part in the JLL property triathlon, this involves a swim, bike and run. Please donate if you can as it is a really important cause.
