Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page:

It was with great sadness that the death of our amazing Mum, Suzanne was announced on the 7th November.

The whole family have been overwhelmed by the kind messages received, which have been a great support to all of us. Whilst we share in our grief, we also want to celebrate her life together with the joy she brought to ours.

We are raising money for Macmillan Cancer due to Suzanne’s personal experience of using them in her times of great need.

In addition to Macmillan, there will be a collection at the Church for donations to support a cause very personal to Suzanne. Ellie, a little girl aged 6 who Suzanne had known and visited since her birth in 2010, suffers from a rare genetic degenerative retinal disease called Leber’s Congenital Amaurosis (LCA), caused by a gene mutation, rendering her Severely Sight Impaired since birth. All monies received will be donated to the family and will be used, to help towards the purchase of specialist equipment, educational tools and activities to help Ellie live as normal life as possible.

Funeral information
The funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s church, Church Street, Yaxley, Peterborough. The church doors will open for guests at 12.15 p.m. The service will begin at 12.30 p.m. and will be followed by a very short committal at Peterborough Crematorium.

Following the church service, The Farmers Arms, Broadway, Yaxley will be open to all guests who wish to commemorate Suzanne’s passing, by enjoying one of her favourite pastimes, before being joined by the Committal party. Those who wish to attend the Committal will be welcome.
We hope you feel able to join us.
