We have avoided a fundraiser until now however, after dropping donations off to several venues yesterday it has become clear that we just don’t have enough donations to go around. 

The rain started to fall heavily yesterday and we were surrounded by people in flip flops, shorts and no jackets. 

Despite having a wonderful donation of new jumpers there were not nearly enough and we didn’t have any shoes or jackets. I have to say I left feeling really deflated. 

Our main need is for young lads who have arrived from all over the world but we have also started to receive more and more requests to support families. These items range from winter warmth to items for newborns such a prams and hospital bags for mum plus activities for the older children. 

We are able to purchase new jackets at £15 each, joggers £5 and the shoes as pictured at £7.50 each. Other warm items such as gloves are needed and a we have our wonder craft group 60mt boxes of love whizzing up some hats and scarves for us. 

It’s also incredibly boring so we’d like to buy a table tennis table plus bats and balls which is £200 from decathlon and some other activities funds allowing.
