We offer specialist medical care to people with serious illnesses

Story

At the beginning of this year our Mum, Sushila Patel, was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer. Since then she had been under palliative care at her home. On the 24th June 2022 our Mum passed away.

Throughout that period the staff at St. Raphael's have been nothing short of amazing. The care that they have provided for our Mum has been exemplary, not just with their level of professionalism and expertise, but also with the warmth and tenderness shown to our Mum and our family. The support of St. Raphael's allowed our Mum to have a comfortable end-of-life as was possible for her, and for that we are forever grateful.

The work that St. Raphael's performs cannot be done without the generosity of donors who support their cause of providing terminal ill patients with dignified, compassionate and personalised care at the end of their life. Therefore we ask that in memory of our Mum, Sushila Patel, that you consider donating to St. Raphael's Hospice (especially in lieu of flowers) and support them in the critical work that they do.

Thank you,

Digma and Viren
