Hello and happy GivingTuesday! I hope everyone reading this
is well since we’ve last spoken. <3

Over the past 3 years I’ve worked at UNOS I’ve seen how organ donation and transplantation work miracles: transplant saves lives for
adults and children experiencing organ failure, and organ donation provides a silver lining of hope for donor families in some of their darkest, and most grief-stricken days.  

This year we are highlighting Sara Siqueiros and her mighty family for GivingTuesday. Their 3 children, Isabel, Jason, and Jaxon, suffered
from an extremely rare condition causing heart failure and they all needed heart transplants in their first few years of life. Working with Sara and her kids over the last few months and hearing all she’s told me about how transplant has saved her family inspires me every day. I’m so thankful to Sara and all the grateful transplant recipients and donor family members I’ve met over the last 3 years. It’s truly a privilege to work for this organization and see how its lifesaving mission impacts real lives.
