Since Elliott was admitted to the Children’s Hospital in August 2019, his life has been turned upside down. For him it means missing out on school with his friends in his last year of primary and having fun like any other 10-yr old on the computer and going to the cinema. 

He’s had multiple major operations in the last month to remove a tumour, and the only place Elliott escapes from the hospital is one, maybe two nights of the week at the MediCinema.  

The MediCinema is amazing for the kids, it shows the latest movies to patients and families within the hospital itself. It’s ran by nurses and volunteers who give up their time to create a joyful and fun experience for the kids.  Elliott has benefitted greatly from being able to feel normal during this period, which has been deeply distressing and challenging for him. 

Please join us to raise money for MediCinema, any donation is gratefully appreciated. For our friends, we do not want Christmas cards or any more chocolates because he can’t eat them, so if you’d like to send us a card, save your stamp please and give it to MediCinema instead.
