Dear Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

A HUGE "thank you!" to all who donated to the Oakland Y Annual Campaign last year.  

I’m Campaign co-chair again this year, so your support means a lot to me.

After being closed for 6 months, the Y opened carefully in mid October, then has had to close again. But while closed, the Y has been even more open to the community than ever.  Recognizing the great need among our most vulnerable neighbors, our Y has  joined with 4 other East Bay YMCA’s to help provide key support for the following programs:

     17 East Bay Early Childhood Centers

     10 Digital Hubs and After-School Learning Centers 

      Health & Wellness Programs for Seniors & other vulnerable populations

      Youth-in-Government and the Y-Scholars Program for teens

I realize that you have your own priorities for giving. I fully respect that. But I'm comfortable asking you to support the Y Campaign, because I know that our donations will make a real difference to a great many people.
